Chiropractic care is a non-invasive way to help you to achieve your optimal health. Whether you are interested in ways to relieve a complaint or in ways to better your overall health, chiropractic care is safe and effective.

Chiropractors perform a thorough history and physical examination to determine and treat the underlying cause of your complaint.
Chiropractors also assess and identify joint motion and your lifestyle habits; all of which have an effect on your health or lack of health.

Chiropractors use a combination of adjustments, soft tissue techniques and various other modalities, which aim to alleviate nervous system interference, restore joint motion, function and reduce pain symptoms. To help you achieve your full wellness potential chiropractors can design a specific program of care that will include chiropractic adjustments, nutritional advice and exercises.

It is important for you to voice any preferences or concerns that you may have about a procedure, program of care, or any particular technique as chiropractors have a multitude of techniques that can be employed to best suit your needs and desires.

Although the purpose of chiropractic is to restore proper joint and nerve function there are plenty of common conditions that are amenable with chiropractic care.

Here are a few common conditions:

Back Pain
Neck pain
Sciatica
Headaches
Shoulder pain
Hip, knee and foot pain
Jaw pain
Wrist Pain
Elbow pain
Disc Herniations

Dr. Bokor is a graduate from the New York Chiropractic College located in upstate New York. From the young age of 3, Dr. Bokor knew that he wanted to be a chiropractor. It was at this age that his mother’s chiropractor convinced him that becoming a chiropractor would be a fun and rewarding career.

After graduating from Guelph University with a degree in Human Kinetics, Dr. Bokor started his chiropractic training at the New York Chiropractic College. It was there that he gained experience working with many different patients with a variety of conditions. He had a rotation at the Campus Clinic which focused on providing care to under-privileged patients who otherwise may not have been able to afford care. He also gained valuable experience while working at the Salvation Army Clinic that focused on the special needs of our elderly population. In addition to Dr. Bokor’s clinical rotations, he undertook special training in order to graduate with a certificate in Human and Sport Performance.

Since being out of school Dr. Bokor has continued to train and strengthen his skills, taking training in concussion management, osteoarthritis treatment and sports taping.
